Who doesn’t love a good party celebration? Whether you’re throwing one or attending one, being able to celebrate life’s happenings is always a good thing. You can celebrate in some of the world’s biggest party destinations or have a small celebration with a party of one (being yourself) and celebrate any life happening of your choice.
This is Not Just a Regular Party…
As mentioned earlier, everyone knows about the typical reasons to celebrate like birthdays and anniversaries… but now it’s time to shed a little light on those unique life instances that people never really think about or are ashamed of. Let’s take a look at some of life’s instances that call for a party celebration!
Divorce is Finalized- Divorce Party
Divorce… Some people look at divorce as a bad thing; some people look at marriage the same way they look at death, in the sense that it’s the death of a marriage. But why is divorce looked at as such a negative thing? It can definitely be a bad thing for a family, especially if kids are involved but it really depends on the situation.
People get divorced for all types of reasons. Maybe there were infidelities or bad financial decisions being made, whatever the case may be, there were things happenings that one or both parties couldn’t handle and wanted out. The Huffington Post talks about the most common reasons why people get divorced and the top reasons aren’t what you may think.
One way that people celebrate their divorce is to party in the city that is ironically the reason for their divorce in the first place… they want to party Vegas style! The Vegas lights, day parties, and full access to signature drinks and cocktails is the ultimate way to celebrate new beginnings.
Almost Time to Have a Baby- Push Party
The moment a woman finds out she’s pregnant, everything becomes all about the baby. Baby showers and reveal parties have all become such a big deal. Today, expecting mothers-to-be can now enjoy their own party celebration just for simply being pregnant.
Push parties are specifically for the mother-to-be. Gifts for this party have nothing to do with the baby on the way. These gifts are things SHE can enjoy while she’s pregnant or after she has the baby; gifts like these include:
- Bottle of wine
- Spa treatments
- Maid service
Some people look at these parties as the mother being selfish but how in the world can this party be selfish, especially when you will be bringing a new person into the world? This type of party might bring about negative attitudes but hey, that’s their problem. You have every right to have a push party if you want, so have your cake and eat it too!
You’re Bored and Want to Throw a Party: “Just Because” Party
Have you ever heard of people throwing parties “just because?” People do it all the time. They’re not celebrating anything in particular… there’s no baby on the way, there’s no graduation, nor is there any type of job promotion lingering… it just may be long overdue for you to see all your friends and family all gathered together in one place.
To have a party, you really don’t need any reason. Now if you are going to throw a “just because” party, you do need to make sure you have these three things in order for your party to be a success:
- Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
With those three things, your guests won’t care why you’re throwing this type of party, they’ll just be glad they got invited! If your guests do happen to ask you what’s the reason for this party… you just simply reply “no reason at all… just because!”
